Health and safety policy

“Elhim-Iskra” JSC is a production enterprise with complex technology, complex technical equipment, which determine the presence of sources of potential risks.

Very important for the “Elhim-Iskra” JSC management is to create healthy and safety working environment.

The management of the company sets goals annually aimed at improving the components of the environment and health and safety rules at work, by introducing new safer technologies and equipment, implementing monitoring and control systems, and continuously increasing the knowledge and competence of employees from all levels of the organization.

In accordance with its responsibilities, “Elhim-Iskra” JSC management declares:

• At the company’s policy is the principle of constant improvement of working conditions with a view to ensuring the health and safety of staff at all workplaces and preventing work-related injuries and illnesses.
• Ensuring health and safety is a priority in the implementation of all activities and production processes.
• The policy of the company is spelled out in the objectives of the ZBR with clearly defined rules for action and behavior, functions, responsibilities and powers on processes and activities of employees from all levels of the management system.
• A Health and Safety Management System at work has been introduced and is maintained in accordance with the international standard BDS ISO 45001:2018, legal and other requirements. Process efficiency is continuously improved by management systems. Regular reviews and audits of the management system are conducted, assessing achievements and progress according to accepted standards.
• A company culture is being built through which all employees commitment to the Company’s policy, with ongoing training and counseling on issues related to health, safety and environmental protection. The participation of the staff directly and through their representatives in the Working Conditions Committee is ensured in determining the goals and controlling the risks for the ZBR.
• Effectively manage identified risks and opportunities by building and maintaining a risk-based mindset. Organizational structures have been built and procedures have been introduced to monitor the sources of hazards, assess the risk to the health and safety of workers and implement measures to control them.
• We work to improve efficiency of using the resources necessary to achieve the objectives and functioning of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System. We work to increase the competence of our employees.
• The active participation of senior management in the development, implementation and maintenance of management systems is guaranteed. The management is convinced that the employees are clearly aware of their role in the development and success of the Company and is confident that everyone, according to their given power and responsibilities, contributes to the implementation of the policy and related commitments
